Notice is hereby given that The Council of the City of Peterborough proposes to make the above mentioned Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to 2(4), 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, ‘the Act of 1984’ and of all other enabling powers. The effect of this Order is to make the following roads into one way streets as follows:
- Cambridge Avenue in an easterly direction between its junction with Gladstone Street and Summerfield Road
- Gladstone Street in a northerly direction between its junction with Windmill Street and Searjeant Street
- Gladstone Street in a southerly direction between its junction with Windmill Street and Cambridge Avenue
- Windmill Street in an westerly direction between traffic calming island outside No.14 and the junction of Gladstone Street
- Silverwood Road in a northerly direction between its junction with Cambridge Avenue and Springfield Road
- Springfield Road in a westerly direction between its junction with Silverwood Road and Gladstone Street
All vehicles are therefore prohibited from undertaking the following manoeuvres.
- Entering windmill street from Gladstone Street
- Entering Gladstone Street from Searjeant Street
- Entering Springfield Road from Gladstone Street
