You can now donate and collect paint free of charge at the Household Recycling Centre in partnership with Community RePaint.

Most types of paint are accepted, as long as they are in good condition and still usable (see accepted items below). If you’d like to donate paint, speak to a member of staff on site who will guide you to the paint reuse area.

From there, you are welcome to browse and take any paint needed for DIY projects at no cost. You will find the Community RePaint disclaimer at the Household Recycling Centre, which should be read before collecting any paint. You must sign and list the amount of paint taken to agree you have read and understand the disclaimer.

If you do not like the paint or have an issue with it, please bring the tin back to our site on your next visit. We will either put it back into the store for reuse or dispose of it correctly.

Please note: we cannot guarantee the amount of paint available.
