An annual survey asking residents for their views on the city's childcare provision is now online at Peterborough City Council - Childcare Survey 2026.

We want every family to access the childcare they need - from nurseries and childminders to breakfast, after-school and holiday clubs.

If you have a child aged 0–14 years (or up to 18 if they have a Special Educational Need or Disability), and currently use or would like to use childcare, please take a few minutes to complete our survey.

The feedback from the survey will help improve early education and childcare services for families in the city.

Cabinet Member for Children and Young People Councillor Katy Cole, said: “The survey is a really useful tool for us to find out what’s working, what’s not, and whether childcare is available in the right place at the right time for families across Peterborough.”

The survey needs to be completed by 31 July 2026, and you could win a £50 high street voucher. Terms and conditions can be found on our website on the Childcare sufficiency page.

All answers will be treated in confidence and remain anonymous. The only mandatory question in the survey is about postcodes, so we can identify local issues and patterns. It will not be used to identify individuals.
