Summer Pride in Place Grant Scheme

Community groups in Peterborough’s Pride in Place neighbourhoods are invited to apply for funding to deliver activities and projects during the summer holidays.

The Summer Pride in Place Grant Scheme will support projects that bring people together, create opportunities for children and families during the school holidays, improve local neighbourhoods, and strengthen pride and community spirit.

Who can apply

The scheme is open to community organisations operating within the two Pride in Place areas:

  • Orton Malborne and Orton Goldhay
  • Paston, Gunthorpe and Welland

Funding available

There are two grant tiers available:

  • Grants of up to £500
  • Grants of up to £5,000

Up to £50,000 has been allocated to each Pride in Place area for this first round of funding.

What the grants can support

Eligible projects could include:

  • Summer clubs and activities
  • Community events
  • Environmental improvements
  • Projects that create opportunities for children, young people and families
  • Initiatives that bring residents together and strengthen local pride

Key dates

Applications opened on Wednesday 1 July 2026 and must be submitted by Friday 31 July 2026. Funding decisions will be made in time for projects to be delivered over the summer.
