Regeneration and infrastructure - Train station to city link

Improving the connection between our city’s train station and the city centre for walkers and cyclist. This piece of work will create a warm welcome entrance to the city.

We aim to:

  • Create a great first impression of Peterborough for visitors and commuters
  • Cut down on travelling time between the station and city centre
  • Create a safer and more visible route between the station and city centre
  • Improve accessibility for pedestrians, cyclists and those with restricted mobility

Project status

Following Towns Fund approval of the business case, we have secured £1.5million from the Government for this project which will incorporate into the wider Station Quarter regeneration project.
