Comment on a planning application
Anyone can comment on a planning application, but your comments must be made in writing. You can support, object to or make a general comment. Any relevant material planning consideration raised in your comments will be taken into account when we make a decision on a planning application.
Publishing your comments
Any comment received on a current planning application will be published on our website. This will include your full postal address and the full text of your comment.
For this reason, you should not include any personal information in the text of your comments. To avoid publication of your personal information you should only provide such information in the text boxes where such information has been specifically requested.
Please note that you must provide your full postal address when making comments. Comments received without a full postal address, or which include requests to remain anonymous will not be taken into consideration.
Comments will be removed from our website once a decision has been issued on the relevant application and then retained in accordance with our data retention policy.
Please note, we will remove and disregard any comments that we judge to be offensive, defamatory, or which discriminate against individuals or groups on grounds of colour, heritage, ethnic or national origin, sex, marital status, faith or belief, sexual orientation, disability, or age.

You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans.
